Gnarwarre
Set on a 32-hectare rural property, the brief was to design a low-maintenance home that sits comfortably within the landscape, offers protection from the elements, and supports both indoor and outdoor entertaining for family life. The master bedroom was envisioned as a calm retreat, evoking the understated luxury of a high-end hotel.
The resulting design is a robust, enduring house, expressed through the use of metal and brick externally, while internally it features a warm, natural palette of timber, stone, and brick. The home is oriented to capture expansive views in every direction, creating a dwelling that feels grounded in its setting, calm, and consistently inviting.
